Actualizado: jun 10

Manatís organized for the fifth time the Company Protocol Debates Day, sponsored by the Catalan Association of Institutional Relations and Protocol. In the meeting, they passionately discussed protocolary practices in the world of gastronomy…

The protagonists were Oriol Castro, owner of a Michelin star and chef of the Bulli for over 18 years, who currently co-owns the restaurant Disfrutar; Xavier Franco, chef and founding partner of the Saüc restaurant, 1 Michelin star; Oscar Piedra, chef of the Ospi restaurant; Jordi Pujol, Spanish champion pastry chef and the sixth best artisan baker in the world, and Oscar Teixidó, chef of the CETT school.

The chefs shared life experiences, as well as views of great importance that should be kept in mind in a constantly growing sector. The meeting was attended by about 140 people, including ACPRI members and and Òscar Teixidó. communication and protocol professionals.

The growing media interest in cooking and culinary arts has caused an impact on society, giving chefs and restaurants greater prestige. This makes it necessary to consider protocol when it comes to knowing what to serve, how, where and when. This debate shows the need to create a joint regulation for protocol professionals.
